"An excellent show, as per usual, with Je'Caryous Johnson's Set It Off. David brought humor, eccentric warmth, and incredible musicianship to the show. The only encore was 'I Am a Patriot', which was a tad bit disappointing, given that the tour has also included 'Take It Easy'. Loved that JB/DL opened up the show with Springsteen's 'Brothers Under the Bridge' dedicated to Vietnam vets who live underneath the bridge in the nearby Arroyo Seco, followed by an acoustic rendition of the late, great Warren Zevon's 'Seminole Bingo'. Maybe DL's vocal range can't hit the high notes anymore, as we were also hoping for The Load/Stay. Overall, a great show."
